Home Remedies For Dogs Upset Stomach And Vomiting

Ginger

Ginger is one of the best home remedies for a dog’s upset stomach. It helps relieve stomach irritation and nausea. Giving ginger in small doses will help your dog promote blood circulation, ease bloating, and more. Add a small amount of ginger to your pup’s food or water. This will help soothe your tummy. 

Pro tip: Don’t give ginger more than a tablespoon, as it can lead to heartburn or nauseous. 

Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix apple cider vinegar in your dog’s drinking water and give it to him. The acidic properties of apple cider vinegar soothe your puppy’s upset stomach

Pro tip: Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with two tablespoons of water and give it to your dog. 

Keep Your Dog Hydrated

Always keep your dog hydrated, especially if they are throwing up or experiencing diarrhea, because they quickly become dehydrated. If possible, give your dog ice chips/cubes every 2-3 hours, as It soothes your dog’s condition.

Note: If you notice any severity in your dog’s condition, take it to a veterinarian. Because dehydration can happen very quickly in a dog

24-hour Fasting

If your dog has an upstep stomach, don’t give food for at least 12 or 24 hours. Fasting keeps your dog’s digestive tract resting and helps recover from inflammation.

Note: Before you keep your dog fasting, talk to your veterinarian. If the doctor recommends it, you can go for it.
